The North American Reggio Emilia Alliance (NAREA) is a network of educators, parents, and advocates seeking to elevate both the quality of life and the quality of schools and centers for young children. It envisions a world where all children are honored and respected for their potential, capabilities, and humanity. Its mission is to build a diverse community of advocates and educators to promote and defend the rights of children, families and teachers of all cultures through a collaboration of colleagues inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

Videatives, Inc. offers products, solutions, and services online, on site, or on request. Resources include e-courses, databases, conferences, consulting, and modules on special topics.


"Innovations in Early Childhood Education: The International Reggio Exchange" has been published by Wayne State University since 1992. This educational periodical has documented the history of interest and study in the Reggio philosophy in North America, as well as the evolution of the experience in the municipal infant-toddler centers and preschools in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
